Tiara Monee is PurposefullyPretty!

Meet Our G.T.A for the month of April, Tiara Monee. When Tiara was asked to express why she was PurposefullyPretty, here’s what she said:

My name is Tiara Monee` Sanders born and raised in Jamaica Queens, NY. I attended Thomas Edison High School where I graduated with the class of 2008. I then attended The University at Albany also known as SUNY Albany where I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Communications & Rhetoric. During my years at Albany, I became President of an all female mentoring organization called Sisters With Pride. We mentored and promoted education, determination and pride to the female adolescents in the Albany area.

When I was a young girl I aspired to be a Criminal Lawyer. To my surprise as I gotten older my deeply rooted passion for music overshadowed those previous aspirations. My journey consisted of various positions ranging from assisting Assemblyman Karim Camara, to becoming a Production Assistant at Black Entertainment Television assisting Brandy and multiple other artists on Black Girls Rock and Rip the Runway. I am presently attending New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies as a Graduate Student studying Public Relations and Corporate Communications. I am learning the ins and outs of becoming a successful Publicist. In the future I plan to start my own Record Label to help up and coming artist brand themselves into the star they have the potential to be. I am PurposefullyPretty because I possess the drive and attitude to accomplish any endeavor that comes my way. I keep my head held high and my faith in the Lord and I know that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
